Support Jessica and TJ After Losing Home in Fire

Donation protected
New Update!!
Jessica is so grateful and astonished by her incredible community’s generosity. She has decided that ALL FUNDS from here on out will be distributed to her neighbors affected by the fire. At least 10 homes are severely damaged. Please consider contributing nonetheless. If you know Jessica, you know this type of kindness is at the core of who she is.

————Story———————
Our dear friend Jessica Garrett’s home was destroyed in the Hampden fire on the 3400 block of Keswick in the early morning on October 15th. You may know her from many worlds—work, standup comedy, theatre, farmers market/open space/playground hangs, and mommy meetups.

Jessica is a single-mom-by-choice and has a three-year-old daughter, TJ, and she is 4 months pregnant (surprise!). They made it out safely, but likely nothing is salvageable. She will need to start from scratch—replacing all of her belongings, finding a new home, possibly a new car, and other expenses. She has a short-term place to stay. Right now, financial contributions are best as it allows Jessica flexibility to prioritize her current needs. Please contribute in any way you can.

If you have other ways, you would like to help, please reach out to me. I am compiling a list of offers for Jessica to reach out when she is ready.
