Support Jessica and Lucy's Healing Journey

Jessica and Lucy are in need of help! On June 23rd, Lucy underwent a common surgery for an ovarian cyst, which would require about 2 weeks to recover. Sadly, Lucy developed complications from the surgery and was admitted to the hospital for further treatment and a second surgery. She is home now, and Jessica is staying with her to make sure that she continues to heal. The unexpected time off from work has created an extremely difficult financial situation for Jessica. In addition to her monthly living expenses, she now has the unexpected medical expenses to also pay for. When John and I told Jessica that we thought it was a good idea to create a "Go Fund Me", she felt uncomfortable, which did not surprise us, due to her stubborn pride. Throughout the years, Jessica and Lucy together have always cared for others, even when they themselves were struggling. We can recall so many times they would share food with people in need, brought toys to children in the hospital around the holidays, and if they could not find a way to contribute monetarily, they would offer their time volunteering in the community. Jessica and Lucy are now in need of love and support. The next few weeks will be important for both of them to focus on Lucy getting well. John and I appreciate any support you can provide.
