My best friend, Jessica Bergstrom, and her husband, Jared Gilbert, lost their home in a house fire last Sunday, June 1, 2025. Thankfully, Jess, Jared, Maggie (daughter), Ian (son), and two cats are safe, but they sadly lost one of their cats, Lena.

Though the fire was contained to the upstairs, the entire home needs to be gutted and rebuilt due to damage from the fire, smoke, and water. They just purchased this home last October and have been working to make it their forever home over the past few months.

They'll be living in an apartment while the rebuilding process takes place. Many people have expressed their love and support and a wish that they could help in some way. If you feel so inclined, this fund is how you can lend a helping hand.
