Jessica Esperanza, long-time faculty member of Mott Community College and her life partner Steve Botos, Michigan State Trooper along with their two daughters lost everything in a devastating house fire on January 14, 2025. The family bought the home just a few months ago and were first-time homeowners. Jessica and Steve have been dedicated citizens in Flint and Genesee county for decades. Their kind hearted spirit have helped so many in their own community and even globally hosting many international students (one pictured with the family). In addition to losing all of their belongings, they lost their beloved family dog. The devastating losses can never be replaced, but your support will ease the process to help Jessica, Steve and the girls to rebuild their lives.
