Hello, everybody! I am a bartender and the Event Coordinator for Spirit Room, in Jerome, AZ. I have to get a hysterectomy this August. I don't have insurance and don't qualify for AHCCCS. The bill from the surgeon is $18,225, and I will have more bills for the procedure on top of that. I will also be unable to bartend for 6 weeks.

Spirit Room is hosting a benefit on Saturday, August 3, from 2-5 pm. Combo Deluxe will be playing, and bar proceeds will be donated for medical bills and living expenses during my time off.
