Hello, my name is Sophia and today May 28th my cat Jesse needed to be hospitalized due to his bladder being blocked up. The vet bill was a little over 4,000 and I was only able to pay $1,000 and need 3,000 to pay off the rest. I was advised by my vet to get a Perineal Urethrostomy (also referred to as a PU surgery) for him in the near future to insure he doesn’t need to be hospitalized again. The vet was not able to give a definitive cost but it will be at least 1,500-3,000 on top of the 3,000 I owe for his current hospitalization. He is still at the vet and hopefully he will be ready to come home and recover tomorrow. I can’t afford the 72 hour hospitalization because it will be an additional 3,000. Jesse is the most affectionate and lovable cat and helps me a lot with my mental health. He is turning 3 later this summer and I can’t imagine him being gone so young. I work a minimum wage job and it’s going to take me a while to save up the money to pay off his current bill and the surgery that he will need, along with needing to pay rent. Anything would help and be much appreciated to help Jesse get the medical help he needs to live a long healthy life with his older brother Ozzy.
