Support Jesse's Miraculous Recovery Journey

On October 28th, 2024, our son Jesse was hit by a car while riding his bike! Jesse was wearing a helmet and was in the bike lane. This was just a terrible accident and a mistake made by the driver (we forgive him).

This is Jesse's senior year of HS. He is a talented musician, good student, and kind soul! His teachers even came to visit him ❤️. Jesse suffered many injuries and remained on life support for 42 days. The most critical injury is a Diffused Axonal Brain injury.

After being stable enough to leave ICU, we were told to put Jesse in a nursing home and that there was little to no hope for recovery. With an enormous amount of faith and prayer, our GOD had a different plan! He was then transferred via air ambulance to a hospital in TX, TIRR Memorial Hermann that specializes in Traumatic Brain Injuries! After 48 hours in TX, Jesse began to wake up. We spent 1 month in TX doing intensive inpatient rehab and we are now back home and about to begin outpatient rehab!

It is expected that Jesse will require a minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation! The financial burden is so great and NO amount is too small! Everything adds up. Jesse is a MIRACLE! He was code blue when paramedics arrived and is now beginning to speak and take steps with the PT!
