Hi everyone, this is for my husband Jesse. He's a great stepfather to our young children and has been a powerlifting coach for over 20 years and has absolutely loved every minute.
Back in 2021 he got covid and ended up in the hospital for two weeks. Covid left him with stage 2 kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and neurological issues. The last three years have taken their toll and he's slowly gotten worse. He is now at the point to where he can't work or do anything physical. I took him to the doctor recently and we found out that one of his arteries is 100% blocked. His surgery is scheduled for June 21st. We are hoping that all he will need is a stint, but the surgeon might decide he'll need an open-heart bypass. Recovering from surgery will take about three months of not longer.
I started the fundraiser to help with the incoming medical bills and to cover living expenses during his recovery time when he won't be able to work. He and I have always tried to be there for folks whenever they needed it and we're just asking if anyone could help us out during our time of need. We greatly appreciate any contributions, no matter how small. Even if you can't donate, please share! We all want to see Jesse happy and healthy as soon as possible.
