Jesse is the kind of friend who never hesitates to help others. On the afternoon of Friday, April 15th 2026, in Chesterfield, Michigan, he was stopped at a red light when he noticed a stranded motorist. Without a second thought, Jesse got out of his car to offer assistance. At this very busy, intersection. Where cars are regularly speeding. The suv was stranded and was clearly in danger. As he was helping, a truck pulling a trailer sped toward them at over 50 mph. Jesse managed to avoid the truck itself, but the trailer caught ahold of him. Striking his arm and breaking it. Spun his around and broke his pelvic area. His wife and daughter witnessed the whole event from inside their vehicle. Watching him get flung across the road, causing serious injuries.
Jesse was rushed to the nearest trauma level 1 hospital for immediate surgery. Already 2 back-to-back procedures are scheduled. Jesse is facing a long and painful recovery. He has incredible medical challenges ahead and will be not return to work until sometime in August-September. The funds raised here will help cover his medical expenses, physical therapy, and support his family while he works to regain the use of his right arm and relearn to walk after reconstructive surgery on his left pelvic. Jesse’s job requires full use of his arms and legs, so this accident has left a massive void in his ability to provide for his wife and daughter.
Every consideration and donation will help Jesse as he faces this huge fight ahead. Your support will make a real difference in his journey to recovery and in helping his family through this challenging time. Jesse had been my best friend for 30 years and I believe anything that can done will be a huge blessing to his family. Who, are crushed after witnessing this horror to their husband/father right in front of them. The emotion trauma will last WELL after the physical. Please consider helping this man who always, always, gives of himself.
