Update:
Jesse was brought to the hospital yesterday with severe pain in his abdomen. He has a fever and wasn’t feeling well. He was tested in the ER and found to have an infection from his latest procedure and that’s what was causing the pain. They decided to admit him to give him antibiotics to treat the infection, but overnight his blood pressure started to drop severely so they moved him to the ICU floor and got him on medication to get his blood pressure up. This morning he’s still in pain and having nausea and so they tested him again and the infection has spread to his blood. So they have done a procedure to tap an iv line into his neck and they are going to start dialysis to help clean out his blood and helps his kidneys to flush out the toxins also while still fighting the infection and the low blood pressure. He’s in a very fragile state so we need lots of prayers for his recovery. He’s still fighting and we have to hope that the antibiotics and the dialysis will flush this out of his body so he can heal. He is currently at the Salem hospital on the ICU floor. Visitors are welcome two at a time and please wear a mask if you plan to visit him. Thanks for the help so far. We will keep you updated.
My son Jesse has battled alcoholism for years. He has had ups and downs in his sobriety but the last few years, his severe anxiety and depression have caused him to self medicate with alcohol. His addiction most recently spiraled out of control and he ended up in the hospital with severe liver and kidney damage. His condition has stabilized, but not without leaving him with some serious health conditions. After two weeks in the hospital, he has improved enough to be released but has a long road of recovery ahead, with the possibility of a liver transplant. He is currently in an inpatient rehab and will be there for at least 30 days. His girlfriend Amber will be taking care of the kids and the household, but she won't be able to work while he is away. Once he returns from rehab, he will be facing more medical procedures that will make it impossible for him to work for the indefinite future. We are setting up this gofundme in the hopes of getting some financial help for the family to get by until Jesses health improves and he can get back to work. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help alleviate the stress of bills and any medications that his insurance may not cover. Thank you in advance for your help.
