We write to share the news that Jesse Marquez has been involved in an accident. A motorist ran into him while he was walking in a crosswalk.

As everybody knows, Jesse Marquez has fought tirelessly for environmental justice communities for more than two decades. He is a prolific environmental health and justice advocate.

Jesse has also fought tirelessly to recover. Unfortunately, little can be done for some of his current medical complications. That gives us little time left with our dear friend and champion.

As Jesse and his family navigates this difficult time, the family is also faced with the financial burden of significant expenses. We are asking for your support to help ease some of these burdens.
