Jesse J. Celaya May 21, 1989 to July 14, 2025 We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Jesse J. Celaya on July 14, 2025. Jesse was the victim of an indescribable senseless Road Rage incident in the City of Menifee, CA on Monday, July 14, 2025. He was a Cherished son, a Loving brother and a Beloved loyal friend. He is survived by his father - Jesse A. Celaya, mother - Sandra Vargas & brothers - Jonathan, Mariano & Xavier. Jesse was preceded in death by his sister Cassandra in August 2002. Jesse had a passionate heart and was a selfless person who was genuine and sincere to all he met. His every day interaction with people is a reflection of who he was. He was a man of God who is forever going to be missed by all. It is God’s will that he has been taken from us. We will always remember Jesse, a compassionate soul who we will all cherish. His smile, laughter and friendship will continue to be embedded in us all. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. PRESS RELEASE - FATAL SHOOTING FOLLOWING ROAD RAGE Menifee, CA – On July 14, 2025, at about 9:30 pm, Menifee Police Officers responded to reports of a road rage incident involving a firearm. The initial investigation revealed that the incident began on Bundy Canyon Road near the 15 Freeway in Wildomar and continued into the City of Menifee. Near the intersection of Scott and Haun Road, one of the involved drivers discharged a firearm, striking the driver of the other vehicle When officers arrived on scene, they located a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injury. Rest in peace, our beloved Jesse.
