Support Jesse DiBlasio's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Update 7/2,
Thank you to everyone that has donated and reached out I deeply appreciate it. I have Stage 2B Seminoma. In short this means that it has spread into my abdomen and grown but has not reached my lungs or chest. Yesterday I had a surgery to install a Port for my Chemotherapy treatment. It will be 4 cycles of treatment that will take 12 weeks. I will be admitted for 5 days for treatment. Chemo starts July 7th and my spirits are high for the coming months to get back to 100% and get back on a wrestling mat.
Love
Jesse

My name is Jesse DiBlasio. Some of you may know me already from wrestling. My life changed significantly on the early evening of May 14th, 2025. I had gone to the emergency room around 9 PM with alarming symptoms of swelling that I could not explain. The hospital was quite busy; however, my turn to see a specialist did occur the next morning. I was frozen in disbelief when the news was given to me that I would be undergoing urgent surgery to remove a tumor that was testicular cancer. A million questions ran through my head, but I had no time to ask as I was off to numerous doctors to be cleared for surgery. The few days I had to process this, I pray never to experience again. On Wednesday, May 21st, the tumor was removed, and now I face the next step in my journey.

At this time, I am trying to raise funds to continue the battle and focus on my strongest opponent, cancer. My doctor has told me that treatment will be necessary. I will know more in the coming weeks as I await test results and will put updates on my page. I am feeling somewhat relieved as I move forward in the healing process after my surgery.

As a long-time wrestling coach and wrestler, I have learned so much about life in my 34 years and have taken pride in my ability to be unstoppable and fight through anything. Teaching kids to take pride in their skills and actions has been rewarding. When they succeeded, I succeeded. I enjoyed spreading the message of helping others in this sport and growing the number of students who benefited from the learning experience, camaraderie, and feeling good about themselves.

I will have many follow-up treatments and tests in the coming months, and I am turning to the wrestling community and others, hoping for support for the coming months. My future is unclear as we wait for the results. I am at peace with what comes next, but I know it will be a continuing uphill battle.

This is a journey I did not expect to have in my life. I desire to turn it into something positive and show the strength and resilience we are all capable of. I have tried to stay positive and turned to family and many friends in this dark time. I am hoping this page will help me find assistance in a community I have loved for a long time.

Please donate and share my page. The funds will be used for medical purposes only. I don’t expect to work for at least a few months, and I will post regular updates with my progress and other relevant information.
