We cannot even begin to explain how absolutely blown away we’ve been in just 4 short days. With the incredible help of so many extraordinary people, we’ve been able to schedule multiple appointments and check off several things from our long list of to-dos for this process. Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am a dear friend of Jesse and Abbie Emhoff. I have known Abbie for several years; her one dream has always been to be a mom. As many of you in the community have watched her nurture your children daily, I know you have seen firsthand what a fantastic mother she will be. I am reaching out for help as they embark on another journey to expand their family. After many years of trying to conceive, four failed embryo transfers, contact with adoption agencies, and foster care, Jesse and Abbie have made the difficult decision to pursue surrogacy. While this path is filled with excitement and challenges, they know it is the right one for them to bring the joy of parenthood into their lives.

Our Journey So Far

Like many couples, they always dreamed of having a family. Unfortunately, after foster care, struggling with multiple attempts at pregnancy over two years, and four failed embryo transfers, they realized that their dream would not come true without a bit of help. After exploring different options and seeking medical advice, they have decided that surrogacy is their best chance at having a family.

They are beyond blessed to have their sister-in-law, Erica, agree to be their surrogate. She has been a beacon of hope for them, and they are so grateful for her generosity and compassion. However, as you can imagine, surrogacy is a costly process, with medical expenses, legal fees, compensation for the surrogate, and various other costs adding up quickly.

How You Can Help

They are turning to our community for support as they embark on this incredible, life-changing journey. They are seeking to raise $15,000 to cover the expenses associated with the surrogacy process, including:

Embryo adoption

IVF treatments and embryo transfer procedures

Legal fees for contracts and agreements

Medical costs for the surrogate’s care

Compensation for the surrogate's time and efforts

Miscellaneous expenses related to the pregnancy and birth
