Hello dear friends and community,

I’m Jessamin. Dancer, Yoga teacher, facilitator and mother to two little ones (4 and 1).

I’m asking for your support as I walk a path of healing from cancer, so I can move toward full vitality and be the mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, facilitator and community member I am so ready to be again - in deeper alignment than ever before.

Throughout 2025, while newly postpartum with our second child, I was exhausted and depleted - chronic anemia, fatigue, dizziness, abdominal sensitivity, barely enough energy to play with my children or run my business. I eventually had to stop working completely to conserve what strength I had left, and after further tests we received a ‘diagnosis’: stage 3 bowel cancer.

Our family stepped into action immediately, supporting me with childcare and researching and consulting with experienced integrative oncology and complementary medicine practitioners, nutritionists, medical herbalists, therapists - alongside meetings with colorectal consultants - to explore all aspects of what it will take to heal and get to a place of remission.

With their support, I now have a comprehensive, clinician-guided healing protocol designed to support my body deeply during this time - strengthening immunity, supporting detoxification and nourishing my system on every level.

Unfortunately, this comes at a cost that is not covered by the NHS. The current treatments, therapies, consultations and support runs to £3000 per month, and will need to be continued for at least a year, if not longer. Joe's single income, savings and family help have carried us this far, but we can’t sustain it alone anymore.

Asking for help does not come easily for us, but we’re learning that receiving support from the community (not only giving it) is part of this healing journey.

We’ve set an initial goal of £36,000 to cover the next 12 months of core care, treatment and support.
