It’s hard to ask for help… But when it’s your child, you put all pride and hesitation aside. This is my beautiful, brave daughter, Jessalyn. Six weeks ago our world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. The news came suddenly and within days she had to begin chemotherapy. Watching her face this challenge with courage and determination has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her. However, the journey ahead of her is long and the time frame is uncertain. The doctors have informed us we are looking at over a year of treatment at this time.

The financial strain of cancer treatment is overwhelming, especially for a single mother. In addition to the cost of alternative medical care that could give her the best chance at recovering, there are monthly and daily expenses that add up. Missing days from work can be costly. Every bit of support will help ease the burden to allow my daughter to focus on healing and being there for my granddaughters.

Again, it is not easy for us to ask for help, but we are standing strong in our faith and believe for a full recovery. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, kind word, and donation.
