My name is Jess Morgan and I'm raising funds toward a new reliable vehicle. I’m highly involved in the Twin Ports community, juggling tons of part-time jobs and volunteer gigs for which reliable transportation is essential. I’m a part-time patient educator at WE Health Clinic to support patients accessing abortion care; I’m the entertainment coordinator for the Duluth-Superior Pride festival; I’m a freelance photographer; I’m a DJ specializing in LGBTQIA2S+ events (and transporting lots of sound equipment!); I’m a poet as well as a writer and copy editor for Perfect Duluth Day; I’m a substitute teacher; I serve on the NQT2SLGBIA city commission; and I support many working writers and artists across the community.

I’m working hard to generate more income for myself right now, but I need a bit of time and help to make it through a hard season in life and bounce back from many recent setbacks. My family has dealt with frequent emotionally and financially challenging situations this year, including a home that burned down, and losing 2 grandparents to cancer in the last few months.

Any assistance provided could allow me to: obtain a reliable vehicle before winter hits, recover from a year of financial setbacks, continue supporting Twin Ports artists, connect with and support my family, and … stop to breathe and get out of survival mode!
