Hi everyone. I’m making this GoFundMe for my brother, Jess Japzon, a valued family member who has always worked hard to support his family. He’s the kind of person who puts everyone else first and never really asks for help, so this isn’t easy to write. Jess and his family are going through a really difficult medical situation right now. Between medical bills and traveling for treatment, the costs are adding up fast and it’s honestly overwhelming. No one should have to stress about money while trying to get better. Watching someone you love try to stay strong while dealing with pain and stress is heartbreaking.

Unfortunately, Jess has an aggressive cancer, sarcoma in his pelvis. He had a recent surgery after months of immunotherapy and radiation, but his team of doctors were unable to remove the much smaller but very vascular growth that took hours and hours in the OR. They decided to close him up after losing so much blood trying to take the tumor out. No one should have to worry about money while fighting to get better, but that’s the sad reality we’re facing. Nell and their 5 kids remain strong. Nell, a gifted physical therapist, has been rehabilitating Jess herself as he recovers from surgery at home.
