On the night we lost Jessica Hilliard, the world lost a brave and loving woman far too soon. Jessica passed away after being shot while trying to stop a man from hurting a woman. In her final moments, she acted with courage and selflessness—putting herself in harm’s way to protect someone else.

Jessica was born on February 16, 1991, and leaves behind the people who loved her most: her two daughters, Aryanna and Rylee, and her son, Lincoln. She also leaves behind her mother, Michele Claypoole, her father, Robert Jaworski, her stepmother, Wendy Jaworski, her sisters, Amanda and Hailey, and her brothers, Buddy and Kenny, along with many family members and friends who are devastated by this loss.

Jessica was the kind of person who stepped in when someone needed help. She was protective, strong, and deeply loved. Her loss has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
