I wanted to share a quick update on my treatment journey. I am currently well into the process, with three more low-dose chemotherapy sessions and 17 radiation treatments still ahead. The next significant step will be a trip to Denver, where I’ll undergo a procedure involving a 48-hour epidural for interstitial brachytherapy to complete my treatment.
As you can imagine, there are additional costs associated with the medications and over-the-counter items I need, as well as the expenses to get to Denver.
Despite the challenges, I’m feeling optimistic. I’m looking forward to the drive through the mountains in September, which I hope will give me some much-needed quiet time to reflect on everything I’ve been through. I’m also excited to celebrate with some family and take a little time for myself.
Your support has meant the world to me. August 21st was the first time since June that I truly felt like myself. Even though I know the side effects will return soon, just having a few hours of feeling joyful and pain-free was indescribable. I’m also hopeful that this new treatment regimen will bring milder side effects.
Side note: I had energy to have some fun with Ben where I wasn’t fighting through pain or nausea, and the slightest jostle wasn’t excruciating. I even had the energy to fully annoying my husband with my Taylor Swift and CM Punk crossover simulcast event. It’s genius. I promise. #wwe #swifties #cmpunk #fuckcancer #fuckpelviccancer

Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. If you are in a position to help, please know that you are truly improving the quality of my life as I work towards my cure. My heart is full because of you.
With heartfelt gratitude,
