Support Jess and Austin Journey after Eaton Fire

Hello, I am Brittney and I am here to ask for your help on behalf of my dear friends Jess + Austin while they start over after losing their home to the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA.

Many of you probably already know Jess + Austin, but for those that may not, they are the best people you could ever have the fortune to know and call a friend. They are family, and they take care of their people and their community like family.

After being called by their neighbor up the hill that a fire was close, instead of packing up their belongings, Austin was running to other neighbors to make sure everyone knew to get out. They had less than 15 minutes to alert neighbors, grab things and evacuate. It happened so fast the emergency alerts didn’t go out until after they were in the car escaping. They will be starting over from scratch. Jess is all too familiar with what it takes to build back a community, having been through Katrina as well.

While they need our help, they are still doing what they can to help their community as well. They are beyond generous and kind. If you know them, pay that generosity back, and if not, I can’t think of two better people to pay it forward with. They will take that generosity and make it grow.

It will be a long road to recovery, and it’s scary not knowing what the future holds and hoping insurance companies provide what you need to recover what you so meticulously saved for and curated over so many years. You have my most heartfelt thanks for anything you can provide to help them during this time! We love you Jess, Austin + Asher!!
