In Loving Memory of Jeslyn “Jez” DeBaltz

My sweet friend, Jeslyn “Jez” DeBaltz, passed away on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, after courageously battling Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She surpassed every prognosis, every expectation, and every limit doctors gave her.

If ever there was a true testament to the power of a positive, strong, and determined mindset, Jeslyn was it. She was unwavering in her belief that healing was possible — that cancer was just a moment in time and that she would return to living the vibrant, full life she always envisioned. She believed her work here was only just beginning.

More than anything, Jeslyn wanted to be here — to raise her daughters, Portia (16) and Eastyn (9). She held on through immense pain and unimaginable challenges, fighting every single day for the girls she loved so deeply.

It is our wish to honor Jeslyn’s legacy by creating an education fund for Portia and Eastyn. All donations will be placed in a trust, to be accessed by the girls when they reach adulthood. Any contribution, large or small, will directly benefit them — serving as one final gift from their mother, whose love knew no bounds.

This is the only fundraiser for Portia and Eastyn that has been approved by Jeslyn’s husband, Ben; her brothers, Wesley and Denny; and her best friend, Renee.
