This is Jesca. We are working to get her life altering surgery! She has a very large keloid on her ear that is very heavy, and uncomfortable. It itches constantly and if it grows any larger it can cause permanent hearing damage! She lives in Uganda and raises her 3 granddaughters all alone. My family and I have been sponsoring them monthly for about two years now, and we are so thankful to be able to help turn their lives around. When we started sponsoring Jesca and her family, they would dig for food and would often not eat daily; they looked so hopeless. While we are beyond blessed to be able to help them monthly there is no way she would be able to afford this procedure without additional help. I can’t even imagine how uncomfortable she is or even insecure over it, seeing as how she wraps it up daily so it’s not seen. We often take for granted medical procedures in the US, and likely it would have never even gotten this big in America. She’s such a sweet woman and has an amazing heart.
