This week, our work family experienced an unimaginable loss. Jerry Hawk, our Payroll Manager, and his wife, Tracy, who had just recently started with Delta as well, lost their home in a house fire. In a matter of moments, everything was gone their belongings, their sense of security, and, heartbreakingly, a fur baby, a beloved member of their family. Jerry and Tracy made it out safely, and we are endlessly grateful for that. But they are now faced with starting completely over with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. They are grieving the loss of their home, their memories, and a precious dog who meant the world to them.
Those who know Jerry and Tracy know how much they give to others dependable, compassionate, and the kind of people who show up without hesitation. Now it is our turn to show up for them. We are collecting whatever we can to help them with clothing, immediate necessities, replacing essentials, and the many unexpected costs ahead.
No amount is too small. Every contribution, every share, and every kind message truly makes a difference. If you aren’t able to donate right now, please consider sharing this page and keeping Jerry and Tracy in your thoughts. Thank you for surrounding them with love as they grieve, heal, and begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
