Support Jerry St. Pierre's Recovery Journey

My name is Jerry St. Pierre, and I reside in Princeton, Minnesota. I am a self-employed handyman, working primarily throughout North Minneapolis and the broader Twin Cities area. For years, I’ve taken pride in providing reliable, honest service to my community, while also caring for my family and eight rescue animals at home.

On April 18, 2025, I underwent a life-saving quadruple bypass surgery. This major procedure rendered me unable to work for an extended recovery period of at least three months. Just as I was beginning to regain strength, I was involved in a serious car accident on May 27, 2025, which significantly set back my recovery.

These back-to-back health crises have left me physically unable to work and financially strained. I have exhausted my savings and have begun to accumulate credit card debt simply to cover basic living expenses—utilities, food, medication, and care for our animals. As a Type 2 diabetes patient, I also face ongoing medical expenses that are increasingly difficult to manage.

To make matters more difficult, we have gone from a two-income household to a one-income household, as my wife tries to carry the entire financial burden on her own. The emotional and financial strain on our family is mounting, and we are struggling to keep up with our obligations.

I am humbly asking for assistance, whether through financial support, community resources, or guidance to programs that may help bridge the gap during this time. Any support will help us avoid losing our home, care for our animals, and ensure my continued recovery, allowing me to eventually return to work and once again support my family and community.
