Support Jerry Santucci's Recovery After a Violent Assault in
Donation protected
On July 27th 2025, 67-year-old Jerry Santucci was out riding his bike in Hamilton, Ontario, when he was violently attacked and robbed by a man who was completely unclothed.
The shocking nature of the assault — both physical and deeply traumatic — has left Jerry shaken, severely injured, and in need of ongoing care. He was taken to hospital, released then readmitted yesterday where he remains, with head trauma, a deep forehead laceration requiring stitches, facial contusions, and multiple other injuries. But the emotional toll of the attack is just as real.
This was not just an accident. This was an act of violence that should never have happened.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Jerry is now on a long road to recovery — physically, emotionally, and financially. At 67, he's facing a future filled with medical appointments, healing, and likely trauma therapy.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Physical rehabilitation and therapy
Trauma counseling and mental health support
Transportation and mobility support
Basic living expenses while he cannot work or care for himself fully
Legal or victim support services
Jerry is a kind and gentle man, beloved by his friends and known for his calm, active lifestyle and deep appreciation for the simpler things in life. What happened to him is unimaginable — but with your help, he doesn’t have to face it alone.
