Support Jerry Gilmore's Family in Grief

Donation protected
Dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jerry Gilmore. He was a cherished husband to his wife, Marti Gilmore, for 50 years and an amazing brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who brought so much love, laughter, and light into our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma in September of 2024. He faced his cancer battle with a strength and toughness that amazed us all. Never once did he back down from his fight, and even after many setbacks in his health, he remained true to his faith and determination to beat his cancer. Unfortunately, after 5 long months battling this cancer and many different forms of treatment, he passed away on the morning of January 25th, 2025.

As we come to terms with Jerry’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he wanted and he deserves to show our love and respect to him. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Jerry was a very private man, and his wishes were to have a small family gathering of immediate family to send him off on his journey to the next life, which we will honor on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. Our family will also plan a celebration of life for Jerry at a later date, which we will invite all those who knew him and loved him that want to celebrate with us in his honor. These details will be made public once all arrangements have been made by the family.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Jerry’s memory and helping with the medical expenses him and Marti accumulated during his battle with cancer. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering our beloved Jerry.

We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
