I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Jerom. He is family to me. Jerome moved from Jamaica to the United States when he was in middle school. His mother, little sister, and grandparents are still in Jamaica and have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa. They are all thankfully safe and healthy in the aftermath of the storm. But they are in great need of our help. This storm has destroyed part of their home, but it has completely destroyed other people's homes. Jerome's family has taken their neighbors into what is left of their home to provide them with what food, water, and shelter they can. But they still need our help; they are running out of food and water. Their country has been devastated by this storm, and his family is doing all they can to put their lives and the lives of their neighbors and friends back together in the wake of this storm. So I ask you to help them remember that they are also not alone in this and do what you can to help them. Thank you!
