I am a Kelly Bonner, a close friend of Jeroen Amador. I have known him for over 25 years. He has been a good friend, and I know he loves God, and he loves people. He goes to church regularly, and volunteers food for everyone. Over the years, he has helped several people stay in his apartment who needed a place to stay; he volunteers for homeless people in LA, and for a number of years he has gathered clothes, towels and other donations in Camarillo for Shower of Hope in LA. He has loaned people money he been able to, not being sure he would ever receive it back. He’s just a fine man!

Some time ago, he suffered a major stroke, and was not discovered for 4 days. Over several years, he had to re-learn how to: walk, talk, understand others, and to drive. Because he is still paralyzed on his entire left side, it is painful for him to walk, even short distances. In addition, he has lost 100% of his ability to use his left arm. Furthermore, it is still difficult to talk, and he has memory problems. As a result, he has never been able to find work, even though Social Security service.

Recently, Jeroen's car's transmission broke. It had left him stranded in an area which has no bus service. Without a car, he faces major difficulties doing everyday activities, such as: shopping for groceries, going to medical appointments, attending therapy sessions, and traveling to church. The loss of his vehicle has made it nearly impossible for him to function in everyday life, maintain his independence and continue his recovery. The goal is to help Jeroen purchase a used, reliable car, so he can function in everyday life activities.

Because he is unable to find work, he is now trying to become a Christian author. Some of the books that he has already written include "There Was War in Heaven..." and "The LORD God: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit)". In addition, he has written 3 children's books, featuring "The Three Members of the Godhead", "Your Brother, Jesus", and "Your Friend, The Holy Spirit". Currently, he is in touch with a Christian Publisher, trying to get his books published.
