Help Rebuild My Family’s Home After Hurricane Melissa
Hello everyone,
My name is Jermaine Wilson, and I am originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica, a place known for its vibrant culture, strong spirit, and the warmth of its people. Today, however, my island and my family are facing unimaginable hardship in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 Hurricane that devastated Jamaica.
The hurricane tore through our communities with catastrophic winds and flooding, leaving behind destruction that words can hardly describe. Homes were flattened, crops washed away, and families including mine lost nearly everything. My family’s home has been completely destroyed, and we are struggling to recover with very limited resources.
I am reaching out with humility to ask for your help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go toward, providing basic necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, rebuilding our home to help us get back on our feet.
Your support means more than just financial relief it means hope. Hope for my family, for our neighbors, and for our island as we begin the long road to recovery.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others. Together, we can rebuild not just houses, but lives.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult time.
With gratitude and love,
Jermaine Wilson
From Jamaica, with hope
