My best friend Jerleen Nodalo was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a highly aggressive and life-altering brain cancer, back in 2020. The news devastated all of us who know and love her. Jerleen bravely underwent two back-to-back brain surgeries during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite being alone in the hospital, she pushed through with incredible strength and made a remarkable recovery.
After five years in remission, Jerleen embraced life fully — cherishing time with her loved ones, returning to school, graduating as an Esthetician, and launching her own skincare business, doing what she loves most.
But earlier this year, the tumor returned.
On March 19, 2025, Jerleen courageously underwent her “third” brain surgery to fight this aggressive disease once again. This time, her recovery has been more difficult — both physically and emotionally.
Glioblastoma treatment is complex and demanding, often requiring ongoing therapies, medications, and close medical monitoring. The financial and emotional toll is heavy.
We are raising funds to support Jerleen and her family, allowing them to focus on what matters most: healing, hope, and time together.
Jerleen is one of the kindest, most selfless people you could ever meet — beautiful inside and out. She is a loving wife to Nathaniel Nodalo and a devoted mother to four wonderful children: JB (18), Coleen (10), Nash (8), and Liana (6).
I’ve known Jerleen since high school. Life took us in different directions, and we haven’t always seen each other often — but we’ve always had each other’s back. That’s just the kind of friend she is: loyal, kind, and full of quiet strength. Even with time and distance, Jerleen has remained someone I deeply admire, and now I want to be there for her in this fight.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every gift, no matter the size, is a blessing. And please keep Jerleen in your prayers for strength, peace, and a full recovery.
On behalf of the Nodalo family, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
