Jericka Ross-Jordan is a mom, chef, entrepreneur and food activist. She believes in feeding others with dignity, soul, and care. From nonprofit partnerships to farmers markets, she’s shown up consistently to serve meals, nourish neighbors, and fight food insecurity in Shelby and beyond.
Now, Jericka is in a season of receiving. She’s been diagnosed with cervical cancer and is preparing for a successful treatment of chemotherapy and radiation. Like many self-employed community workers, this diagnosis impacts her health and her income.
This fundraiser helps cover:
✅ Medical and treatment-related expenses
✅ Time off from cooking and labor
On July 18th, we’ll host a fundraiser event with food, community, and ‘ Community is My Medicine’ merch. Whether or not you can attend, we invite you to:
Donate whatever feels right
Sponsor a meal in her honor ️
Nourishing others is what she does best. Let’s show up and nourish her in return.
