Hello, Central Oregon family and others! My name is Eukia, and I would like to introduce my family to yours. My fiancé Jazmine and I were both born and raised in Bend, Oregon, where we met during high school. We spent our time laughing, going on road trips, dating, and setting goals for our future together. Fast forward 5 years, we bought our first home together in La Pine and got engaged! With our first baby on the way, we quickly began to prepare a birth plan as well as a nursery for our baby boy, Jeriah Kaczmarek.

On Monday, October 20th, 2025, we found ourselves in the hospital dealing with pre-term labor only 28 weeks into the pregnancy. After several nights in St. Charles Birthing Center, our baby was delivered in the operating room. Jeriah was able to take his first breath on his own but was quickly admitted to the NICU. There, he was placed in an enclosed warmer and is now supported by oxygen, humidity, and other IVs to keep him going.
