Hello! My name is Jeremy and I was recently living in Swannanoa North Carolina For the last 10+ years I built a nice simple life in this beautiful area. On September 27th I was woken up from Hurricane Helene and already had a foot of water in the house. As a very short time passed, the water was 6ft deep. I was able to make it to the roof and shortly there after was forced into a tree where I was able to witness everything I owned wash away from the flooding of the Swannanoa River. The house I lived in, The shop I owned and worked out of as a carpenter, and my truck also disappeared. I have been able to acquire clothing and a replacement cell phone but I will need to rebuild the rest. The entire area was destroyed, and I stayed for a few weeks to try and help with recovery efforts. Once all resources were exhausted I was able to relocate to be with Family in CT. I’m trying to raise money to replace everything I can from the flood. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
