Jeremy Hopkins, my son, was recently involved in a very serious ATV accident. He was thrown from the vehicle, and his back struck the pavement, resulting in two fractures in his spine and a broken tailbone. The accident was a terrifying experience for our family, but we are so grateful that Jeremy survived. He underwent emergency surgery on his spine and spent nine days in the hospital, receiving care and support from a wonderful medical team. Just a few days ago, Jeremy was finally discharged and is now beginning the long road to recovery at home.
Jeremy is incredibly thankful to be alive and is leaning on our Lord for strength, comfort, and hope during this difficult time. However, the challenges are far from over. He will be unable to work for at least three months as he heals, and in the meantime, his medical bills are mounting. In addition to the costs of surgery and hospital care, Jeremy will need ongoing therapy and support to regain his strength. He also faces the burden of his regular monthly expenses while he is unable to earn an income. To make matters more difficult, the hospital lost Jeremy’s top dentures while he was in the emergency room and has offered no reimbursement, adding another unexpected expense to his recovery.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help. The funds raised will go directly toward Jeremy’s medical bills, therapy, living expenses, and replacing his lost dentures as he recovers. We know God moves mountains and knows every hair on our heads. Your prayers and any financial support you can offer mean the world to us. Thank you for standing with Jeremy and our family during this challenging time.
