Asking for help has never been easy for me. On October 16, our world stopped turning. My 47-year-old husband, Jeremy Reed, was diagnosed with End Stage Liver Disease. He was hospitalized for 4 days at a hospital out of network. We were able to get him an outpatient appointment to see about a liver transplant with another hospital. He was able to get an appointment on Nov 4 due to a cancellation, thank you GOD. He was a direct admit to the transplant hospital for evaluation that day (out of network again). He will be there at least until mid to late next week. We are praying to be approved to be on the transplant list in JESUS' name.

We moved to Texas in July for my career. He had been looking for a job and now is unable to work. We are asking for help with medical bills that will start piling up with high out-of-network copays. It’s the end of the year, so we will be starting over Jan 1st again with accruing max medical bills. Jeremy is my best friend; we don’t want to lose him.

Funds will be used for bills and (out of network) payments are high, we are at the end of the year so next year starts over again with the same high OON premiums. Every time we go to the hospital it is $10-19.00 a day. The less you stay its closer to $10 the longer you stay it is closer to $19. If you leave and come back it’s $10. Food is at least $11.50 for one item. Hospital food is not cheap. We live 43 miles from the hospital so gas back and forth gets pricey also. I’m the only one working. Thank you and GOD bless.
