In July 2025, our colleague Jeremy Johnson, an Army veteran and safety officer, stepped in and helped save a coworker’s life after he collapsed on a roof at work. Jeremy’s quick action helped stabilize the man and get him safely to paramedics, showing the kind of selflessness and courage he brings to every situation.
Shortly after that day, Jeremy’s own health began to decline. After multiple hospital visits, doctors discovered he was suffering from Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency (SAI), a serious condition where the body cannot produce enough cortisol. This diagnosis has changed Jeremy’s life dramatically. He has been unable to work, and the financial strain has been overwhelming for him and his family. On top of this, Jeremy is now facing major surgeries and ongoing treatments, which add to the mounting medical expenses.
One of Jeremy’s hopes is to train his rescue dog as a cortisol alert service dog, which would provide him with life-saving support and greater independence. This fundraiser will help cover the costs of his medical care and the specialized training his dog needs. Please support Jeremy as he faces these health challenges and works toward recovery. Your generosity will make a real difference in his journey.
