Help Jeremy Hammond Fight Glioblastoma and Support His Family

Hi, my name is Hannah and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart on behalf of my cousin Jeremy Hammond and his family.

Jeremy, a loving husband to Jennifer and a father to four children—Autumn (26), Treylyn (25), Jessalyn (22), and Morgan (20)—was recently diagnosed with stage 4 multifactoral glioblastoma, an aggressive and terminal brain cancer. Unfortunately, this diagnosis is a devastating one as there is no cure for glioblastoma. Jeremy’s current prognosis is 6-8 months.

Jeremy has always been the sole provider for his family, working as a sprinkler foreman in Local Union 669 for 15+ years. As his health rapidly declines, he is no longer able to work. Jennifer has become his full-time caretaker, as Jeremy is already experiencing memory loss and other debilitating symptoms. Together, they are facing overwhelming medical and financial challenges that no family should have to endure.

Jeremy’s treatment plan, which includes specialized cancer treatments and medications, costs over $4,000 per month, even with insurance. As you can imagine, the financial burden is immense and the Hammonds are already struggling to cover treatment, household bills, and basic living expenses. The last thing they should be worried about right now is the stress of paying bills or managing financial hardship.

We are asking for your help to alleviate some of this burden. Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting Jeremy’s medical treatments, medications, and the Hammonds’ household expenses. Our goal is to ensure that Jeremy can focus on fighting this illness with his family by his side, rather than worrying about the financial strain that comes with this difficult situation.
