Hello my name is TaLerra Sullivan I started this gofundme on behalf of my Uncle Jeremiah Downing. On Tuesday Jeremiah was riding horses with his daughter, they were riding around barrels and the horse began to buck and bucked him off. Unfortunately He landed on his back/butt and ended up breaking his pelvis is two different places. He also had some pretty serious internal bleeding and had to have two blood transfusions. Friday morning at about 10:15am Jeremiah went into what was supposed to be an easy 30 min surgery to correct his pelvis injury but ended up lasting closer to 2.5 hours. When they began surgery they realized his pelvis was unbalanced and they had to put screws in the back of his pelvis and a plate and screws in the front of his pelvis. In turn He will be in a wheelchair for 8-12 weeks depending on how he heals. It’s kind of a wait and see type of recovery.

For the time being Jeremiah will be staying in Kansas with his girlfriend Mary until he is fully recovered. Mary will have to hire in home care while she works. Which is a big added expense.

Anyone who knows my uncle Jeremy knows that he has worked with his hands all his life. So this tragic event has turned his life on its head. We are asking for help with his medical expenses, every day bills along with in home care during his long recovery. He will not be able to work whatsoever during this process and will be in extensive physical therapy. So if you can help my uncle, his girlfriend Mary and his daughter Savanna during this tragic time it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
