My name is Jeremiah Follis, and for the past 25 years, I've dedicated my life to teaching, storytelling, and building creative communities.

As a high school teacher, I've had the privilege of working with countless students, guiding them not only through the classroom but also through hands-on creative experiences. One of my proudest accomplishments has been Olio Road Productions, the program I founded and built into a thriving hub for student filmmaking, collaboration, and artistic growth. Over the years, I've produced and art-directed more than 20 films, giving students the chance to see their ideas realized on screen while learning every stage of the filmmaking process.

In 2023, I produced the independent film 11:17, which was created entirely by public high school students under my guidance — from writing and acting to technical crew. Despite having a budget of only $800, the film was accepted into the Heartland International Film Festival, where it competed alongside films from around the world, many with stars and budgets in the millions. That achievement demonstrated not only what my students and I could accomplish together but also the heart and determination we bring to storytelling.

Beyond the classroom, many know me as Sillof, where I've gained recognition for my original art, custom figures, and reimaginings of beloved characters and worlds. My work has connected me to fans and creators across the globe and has been commissioned by celebrities, film, and television — including Patton Oswalt, Seth Meyers, and the TV series Supernatural. I've also partnered with Lucasfilm at multiple Star Wars Celebrations, contributing to the official Diorama Workshop, showcasing my work, and hosting panels about my artistic process and creations. These opportunities have allowed me to merge teaching, artistry, and professional collaboration into a career rooted in creativity and mentorship.

Now, I am seeking support for the project, a feature film called DAYDREAMER. It will be a film written and directed by me, infused with everything I love — cinema, teaching, storytelling, and art. The cast and crew will be made up entirely of me and my current and former public high school students. It will also heavily feature my Sillof designs and all new original costumes and props designed and made by me. This project is not just about creating a film — it's about empowering young artists, giving them real-world experience, and proving that passion and creativity can overcome any budget.
