Jeremiah Erazo, my dear coworker, was diagnosed with cancer at just 23 years old. The diagnosis came in November, and he underwent surgery on January 24, 2026. The surgery was much more complicated than expected, lasting around 12 hours instead of the planned 4-6, and Jeremiah spent 5 days in the ICU due to complications. His mother is caring for him, and both have had to take more time off work than anticipated. Radiation is the next step in his treatment. Jeremiah is a vital part of his small, close-knit family, serving as a role model for his mom, sister, and nieces—his 'girls.' He takes his role as a son, brother, uncle, and father figure very seriously. His diagnosis has deeply affected both his family and our work family. Medical bills, hospital bills, and living expenses are quickly adding up.
The funds raised will help cover Jeremiah's doctor bills, hospital bills, and living expenses while he and his mother are unable to work. This support will help ease the financial burden so Jeremiah and his family can focus on his recovery.
