My friend and coworker, Jerald Hess, had an unfortunate accident on July 4th. A rogue bottle rocket hit Jerald in his left eye, causing severe damage and causing him to lose his eye.

Jerald will not only be facing future medical bills, but also an extended period away from his work duties at Enterprise Car Rental at the Louisville Airport.

A few words from Jerald:

“Money raised will be used to maintain my medical insurance while on leave, as well as keeping our medical bills, mortgage, utilities, and other monthly expenses paid up. My wife works but has missed several days as well.

It is difficult for me to ask for help, but we simply can't make it alone. Any amount that you can afford will be greatly appreciated.”
