Hello, everyone. My name is Jerald, and I am at my wit's end. I am a father of two beautiful girls and husband to an amazing wife. However, outside of that, life has been rather unkind to me. Due to some health issues, my wife is unable to drive or work, and we are trying to get her onto disability. I, myself, have 8 spinal problems: LS Pars Defect of the L5, spina bifida (L5), two herniated lumbar discs (L4-L5, L5-L6), sacral knots over the sciatic nerves, scoliosis in the thoracic spine, moderate to severe sciatica, fused vertebrae in my neck (C5-C6), and an unknown issue where my nerves branch from my spinal column to my arms. Six years ago, I had neck surgery to fuse the vertebrae, right after our second daughter's birth, and consequently lost my 12+ year career. Since then, we have fought life tooth and nail, and 2025 has taken its massive toll.

NC DMV has run me dry and ragged due to miscommunication between themselves and NC courts, and thus suspended my license, causing me to be unable to work—as I am an Uber driver—and has cost me roughly $3,000 in income since. But last night was the final straw. I had a deer dart out and smash into the front of my only vehicle. I was currently working to get the money up for our bills, and now have absolutely no way to work to provide for my family. I have nowhere else to turn, and I am beaten down past the point of exhaustion. If you could please find it in your heart to help, I would be eternally grateful.
