Hello family and friends!!

We are so proud of our grandson Leo Aguilar #56 and his teammates at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Jose.

They have won the NorCal title and advanced to the CIF CHAMPIONSHIP State game that will be played in Southern California. It is the Super Bowl for all high schools in the state of California.

Jen had originally planned to host a fundraising event by preparing meals and baking, but we advised her against it due to her health. As Jen is coping with stage 5 kidney failure (last stage), she requires special travel arrangements and accommodations for long-distance travel.

If you are able, we would be deeply grateful for any donations, big or small, to make this trip possible for her to join Leo in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The trip is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 11, and the game is Friday, Dec. 12.

This trip is really meaningful to both Jen and Leo.

She’s the creatively crafty mom that makes the signs (with her circle of friends) that the mascot Leo the Lion waves to get the crowd excited.

She’s missed only one game the whole season due to illness from hospitalization.
