Everyone who has met Jen Coleman will tell you what a bright, shining light she is. She lives to make others smile with her little resin ducks.
Jen is a courier for a Minnesota company that primarily services healthcare facilities. Roughly 1 year ago, she started hiding tiny resin ducks around each building she visited, where people would randomly find them, not knowing where they came from. Jen was enjoying her game of hide-n-seek, while the rest of us were all enjoying finding these colorful ducks! She would even recruit accomplices to help her surprise people. She continues to surprise us even though we now know it is her, and we still have fun with it. Jen has continued to spread joy to random strangers that will never even meet her.
Recently, Jen was in a car accident and was hit by an inattentive driver. Her truck was totaled by the insurance company, which left her frustrated, but it did not dampen her spirits. She was prepared to do what she needed to do to stay on track. Then she discovered that, due to a recent debt consolidation, she would not be able to apply for a loan to get a new vehicle. Due to Jen's occupation and the many miles she accumulates, she needs a reliable vehicle. Since she is unable to apply for a loan, she is unable to obtain one.
This broke Jen's heart. If she cannot get a vehicle, she cannot continue her job as a courier and therefore, cannot continue to spread happiness to the many people that look forward to her visits. Some of her regular visits include patients on hospice that rely on her to brighten their day!
WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!
Please help donate whatever you can to help Jen stay on her positive journey! Together, we can make it a reality!
