Our dear friend, Jen Blomstrom , has made the extraordinary decision to donate one of her kidneys to her friend, Jason Loree, giving him a second chance at life. Her selfless act will help save his life and provide hope for a healthier future.
While this journey is incredibly meaningful, it also comes with significant challenges. Following surgery, Jen will face a recovery period of approximately 4–6 weeks. During that time, she will be unable to work and will be focusing on healing and regaining her strength.
We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden of lost wages, medical-related expenses, travel costs, household bills, and everyday necessities during her recovery. Our goal is to allow her to focus on what matters most, healing after this life saving gift.
