Support Jen's Fight for Hope
Donation protected
Hi Everyone, we wanted to set up this GoFundMe on behalf of our best friend—a loving mother, and devoted wife —who is now facing the fight of her life after receiving devastating news that the stage 4 cancer in her small intestine is inoperable.
She’s been overwhelmed by the incredible outreach of love and support from her friends and family.
In response, we’ve created this donation page to help ease the financial burden on her family and join her in the fight. Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, travel for treatment, and giving her every possible opportunity in her search for healing and hope.
For over two years, Jen battled constant nausea and vomiting after nearly every meal. She lost a dangerous amount of weight and saw countless doctors, but no one could figure out what was wrong. Eventually, she was diagnosed with celiac disease, but even after changing her diet and trying every recommendation, nothing helped. Her symptoms kept getting worse.
In a moment of desperation, she admitted herself to the hospital — and that’s when everything changed.
She was diagnosed with small bowel adenocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. Tumors were found in her small intestine and on her ovary. She’s gone through six rounds of chemotherapy so far, holding on to hope every single step of the way. But then she was given the worst possible news: the cancer is inoperable — at least here in Chicago.
Because of how rare and complex this cancer is, she now needs to seek treatment outside of Chicago such as MD Anderson in Houston, Sloan Kettering in New York, and the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota— places that specialize in rare cancers and might be able to offer the care and hope she deserves.
Any donation, big or small, words of encouragement and prayers are welcomed to join Jenny in her fight ♡
