No one ever wants a cancer diagnosis but you certainly want to know you have a Village in your corner if it ever happens!
I am the mother to 5 beautiful kids and fiancé to the sweetest man. At the end of 2025 I decided to get checked for IBS assuming my iced coffee was causing me issues. I was sent for a cat scan, the next morning I received a call asking if my kids were with me they have results, I gulped back knowing my life was about to change, on 12/31/2025 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal cancer secondary liver. Metastatic, DEVASTATED!!
I was told to stop working to save all energy to be home and be Mom as I am undergoing aggressive Chemo treatments!
As you can imagine this is soul crushing news, we just healed our hearts after my son had a leg amputation. Now I have to be strong again & crush my families heart with the most devastating news!
Mom has a cancer that we may have caught too late, I am positive that I am strong enough for this fight but reality also crushes me with the thought of burdening them if the cancer is stronger then my fight, This is the most devastating news to me as a Mother, I need my kids and they need me. More then anything in this world I want and deserve to be here for them! I NEED to be.
Any help is greatly appreciated as it allows me to fight harder and show up stronger with less worry in my heart for my family so they can show up strong for me and I can truly rest without worry. Being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer has rocked my world, it has held a doom over my head that may never leave. However, I remain humble, I show up with grace to care for my 5 beautiful babes and to be a wife, this may not make sense right now but I hold onto Hope that one day I’ll see the reason until then Ill keep fighting to be here another day! One step, one day at a time. Keep going Jenny girl!
