Hi I'm Jen. I am a single mother. About 2 years ago I started having a lot of lower back and pelvic pain so I went to my doctor where he did some tests and then diagnosed me with a pH imbalance. I was treated and felt better for a couple weeks or so and the symptoms returned. Long story short this same series of events continued for a year and half. I was tested and treated for a pH inbalance 7 maybe 8 times before my doctor decided he couldn't do anything more and I went on to see a obgyn. He did a simple pap smear and immediately saw the problem. Unfortunately, after all this time of trying to get some relief from this pain I had been experiencing for so long, I finally found out what was really going on. I was sent to an oncologist and diagnosed w stage 4 cancer. A tumor had formed between my rectum and bladder and now has actually pierced my bladder. I have had to have tubes put into my kidneys to release the air and pressure off of them because the tumor had grown so big. My life at 41 years old suddenly turned upside down, inside out and every which way in between. I didn't know how to take the news. All I knew was I had to make sure the kids would be ok. All that being said I did finally get some good news my cancer had not spread and my oncologist marked me down as curable! The greatest news I could get! I just have to get through the treatment which has been a struggle in it's own. I am trying to work until I physically can't anymore and that time is knocking at my front door as it gets harder and harder to find the energy during chemo treatments. My hemoglobin has been so low I am now having to get blood transfusions just to be able to get my treatments and it's far from over. I'm not one to ever ask for hand outs but if you could help at all it would be truly appreciated. Thank you all so much and God bless
