I decided to do this in honor of my coworker who was diagnosed with cancer two months ago. She came to my desk and told me that she doesn't want to die, and that made my heart hurt. Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer and she started chemo. She is really struggling; from the first chemo, she lost her hair. She has to go to work because she needs to comply with 30 hours a week to keep her benefits, and she is driving for an hour feeling so bad. She doesn't have any disability insurance and she is worried about paying for her car and insurance. We are doing the best we can to make her feel better, but it's hard to see her fight cancer and try to work feeling so bad.
